All of a sudden, i tried to turn on my laptop and it took forever to start up. I was able to long in and after about 5 minutes it logged in, but the screen was blank with just my cursor. I have tried a system restore multiple times, restarting it, and taking out the battery. Please help soon!

Network controller
Hi I have just uninstalled win8.1 and installed win7 64 bit ultimate. I have been able to sort out nearly all the drivers but can not seem to get the "network controller" to install. The Intel one states I do not have an Intel network controller any help much appreciated.

i mannage to fix it for afew days by re instaling Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver and theHP SimplePass Identity Protection Software. and delete my fingure print and do anew one

Fan is no longer working
Hi there,
When I turn on my laptop, this is the message I am receiving:
the system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly.

The question I have is, if I buy a laptop cooler or external fan will this help my laptop function? Or is it too late for that now?
Obviously I want to fix this problem fast but I cant afford to spend loads of money and I dont want to loose all my data. Please could you advise me on the question above?

Not working Bright control and slow booting up system - HP FrameWork trouble..
I have Probook 6550b (F.50 Bios) witn Win 7 x32.
And i have All drivers. Work hot Keys, sound also works perfect,
but Brightness doesnt work ((( -always like zero (minimal)
But if we push to maximum after reboot brightness is on maximum too - it remembers bright level, but only after reboot.
Also i find that HP HotKey Support depenses of HP Software Framework.
And if any function in HotKey work- it means that trouble is in somethings else.
In Windows logs i find that HP Software Framework is starting up to more than 29 seconds!!
And when Windows is booting - everything are waiting for hpqwmiex.
I Know that HP Software Framework has bugs, and older version is better.
But i tried all posible versions of HP Software Framework... - Windows is always long booting and doesnt work brightness.
What is wrong?
Anybody have any idea?

Drivers not found
Dear Sir,
As i installed new window 7 professional few days ago but unfortunately my bluetooth device is not working due to driver, unknown driver is also missing.Before installing new window every thing was working properly.bluetooth icon is not showing but whin i am updating blue tooth driver it shows installing and after some time it shows that it is x No driver found.Kindly resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I can't get new drivers from the hp support site
I have restored my ssd from the disks I made from the computer when I purchased it and I have done everything I know to do and can not get the hp support site to give me a list of drivers for this computer. I know there must be some updated drivers for the 3 year old computer but I don't know how to get them and it is interfiering with other programs or drivers that need some updated drivers that I can't get. Please help me with this. I have been told that the site is up and running now but it is not working as far as I can tell for my dv7t-6100 cto quad notebook. Just continues to spin and never gets drivers. Thanks for any help in getting this resolved.

Possible Bug in sp70169.exe - USB stick boot of BIOS flash fails
The BIOS flash utility sp70169.exe is provided by download from HP Support and creates the most recent update to the Notebook BIOS.
When sp70169 (is run on a computer with the BIOS locked it) allows the production of a USB stick of the BIOS flash it fails to allow a flash of my HP notebook PC (when booted according to instructions with the prepared USB stick in place).
The BIOS flash utility fails because either:
it does not correctly produce the USB stick contents; and/or
it is overcome by the bad code resident in the BIOS already.
In either case, this seems to represent a flaw in the BIOS flash utility. Can HP improve this product soon? Can HP provide instructions on how to make the USB flash stick work manually? What is the cost of a replacement mother board to update the BIOS the hard way?

Problem receiving emails
I use Windows Live Mail on my HP laptop. Recently I have not been able to receive emails (but can send) and get an error mesage 0x8000ccc0f. I have no problem with my email on my tablet. I contacted ATT and they attempted to help solve the problem but were unable to do so. Any suggestions?

Brightness Changes are Sluggish
Hi all,
I've had this issue for several months on my Spectre 13-3010dx Ultrabook since I reinstalled Windows 8.1 but when trying to change the brightness with the F2 or F3 keys, it will take about 2 seconds per "step" of brightness. After restarting they will usually function normally for short periods of time, usually reverting within a few hours.
The keys are not physically damaged in any way, the other function keys all operate instantly. I've tried to update drivers etc but I don't know which ones are associated with these keys and the HP Support Assistant says everything is up to date. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks again.
