After speaking with technical support yesterday I was told that I needed to do a full system recovery to solve an issue on my laptop. I went ahead and did this following the instructions that were sent to me. However Office 2013 which was pre-installed on the laptop when I bought it failed to re download. I'd be grateful for any advice as to how to get it back please, prefferably without having to do another system recovery as I have already had to do 2 in the 4 months since I bought it. Thanks.

Intel Rapid Storage for only SSD
I upgraded my HP Envy 4 Ultrabook: I replaced the old 500Gb HDD and a separate 32Gb SSD cache with one Samsung SSD. As a part of this work, the engineer at service centre installed a fresh copy of Win 8.1 with all preinstalled HP tools and the recovery partition. On of these preinstalled tools is Intel Rapid Storage Utility. I know that it was needed for the previous disk configuration, when the tiny fast 32Gb SSD was used as a cache for the main 'slow' HDD, but do we really need this tool now?

I have windows 8.1 pc notebook and from the start screen when for example Im in something like EBAY when I want to close there use to be a "x" in the top right, doesnt drop down any more. Not to be confused with desk top

HP Support Assistant says that there's a BIOS update available:

Version: F.34Ap1
Size: 0KB
It's like the update is available, but it doesn't work/is not uploaded yet.
Anyone with the same problem?
Or isn't there any update available and is the notification a mistake?

Stuck on loop and recovery not working (0xc0000001)
Hello Users! Im kinda new so be patient with me.
So.. For some months ago my computer got a malware (I think) and I wanted to fix it by my own hand and it got worser. I tought of reinstall everything on the HDD but the process of the installation got stuck on one place for more than 4 hours and then I restarted the computer and now my computer is stuck on loop and I always get battery warning on the beggining of the startup (610). I cant access to Recovery and I tried to reinstall windows 8 trough USB from the microsoft side with no success... It looks like my laptop wont accept the USB. And in the BIOS it says 0601 in the log. Heres some pics.

Affect of partitioning HD on operation of HP provided recovery software
I have a HP Pavilion g6 with a 450GB HD that has a C partition (size is 400GB) named Local Disk in which resides the OS for windows 7 and a D partition (HP provided software) which is named RECOVERY. I would like to develop a multi boot system creating additional partitions to house other Oss; eg, Unbunto, Linux Mint. I have a program Bootlt Bare Metal From  TERABYTE to use for creaing patitions and setting up a multiboot opertation. Would this configuration with additional partitions and a multi boot setup interfere with the windows 7 OS and the HP functions provided through the recovery software in partition D?

How to disable power up password
How do you disable the administrator/power on password requirement ?I know the password and my system disabled code is 62881351. I just want to disable this requirement on on initial startup.

control panel will not respond, no audio as well
my PC speakers don't work and the troubleshooter can't solve the issue. Now I can't access the device manager, control panel etc. When I click the icon to open either, a popup window opens with the respective app title, but remains white and doesn't populate.

Touch Pad Not Working
So randomly my laptop's touch pad has stopped working. Upon further investigation I found it was not even listed under drivers anymore. Why? I don't know, it was working fine the other day and I haven't downloaded anything new, if I remember correctly.
I tried downloading the driver from here
http://www.synaptics.com/en/drivers.php
But when I restart my computer it still does not work and I get this error message upon entering my mouse settings.
"Unable to connect to the Synaptics Pointing Device Driver.
If you have installed another PS/2 Pointing Device Driver please uninstall the Synaptics driver by clicking on the yes button. You then need to reinstall your pointing device driver from your external device again."
I do have an external mouse for my laptop but I am afraid of uninstalling it because then I would not be able to control my mouse at all, if it did not work.
If anyone could help me fix this I would greatly appreciate it.
