Hi Everyone!
I have an HP Notebook with following specs.
Model: 17-x062sa (Energy Star)
Microprocessor: Intel Core i5-6200U (2.3GHz, 3 MB Cache)
Memory: 8 GB DDR4
Video Graphics: AMD Radeon R7 M440
HDD: 1 TB (SSHD)
Display: 17.3"
Current Windows: Windows 10 (32-Bit)
Actually, I want to replace Windows 10 (32-bit), which is working perfectly, to Windows 7 (32-Bit) for a few solid reasons. I am in engineering work domain, and many softwares that I work on are years old. They are highly compamtible with Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 (32-bit). I already use them on an old laptop but that is getting very slow and out-dated. I want to run those old engineering softwares on this Notebook which is faster and easier to use.
The problem is that I cannot find drivers for Windows 7 (32-Bit) for this machine anywhere on the internet. Only compatible drivers I could find on HP website for this machine were for Windows 10. I am confused that if I install Windows 7 on this machine and, suppose, my Wireless antenna (WiFi) doesn't work then this downgrade is useless entirely. Similarly with other drivers if they are not automatically installed by Windows 7 (32-Bit). I will be stuck in the middle.
Could anyone please suggest why HP has never given the drivers for Windows 7 (or even Windows 8) on its website for this machine. Neither have I found the drivers for Windows 7 anywhere on any other website. What is the best solution for it?
