0xc0000017 error code
I am receiving the error code 0xc0000017. Pressing “enter”, “f8”, or the start menu key does nothing. The HP online help service directed me to buy a windows recovery. After entering my computers information it says that no sodtware or drivers are available for this product. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue still? I do not have a CD driver, only USB. My computer did not come with a windows recovery USB stick. Thank you

xp/win7 dual boot
First of all, sorry for my bad english. I want to make a dual boot on my laptop (Hp Pavilion 15 n001-sq). My laptop don't have an option to change the sata to ahci for installing win xp. I tried to slipstream some drivers in a xp sp3 cd but still not working. I can't find the proper driver for my motherboard for slipstreaming. Any ideas?
Windows 7 on Omen 17"
I have a problem with windows 10, just like most if not all other high-end users and gamers.
Every month or so I need to reinstall drivers, mainly chipset and graphics.
Windows 10 is known for it's forcefully pushing their own drivers on the system, which do not work properly for high-end use.
Therefore I want to get rid of that disease and go back to Windows 7, so the laptop can function properly.
Any idea how I can get my way around the flawed system that disallows the installing lower than Windows 10?

After total hard drive failure need restoration disk for new hard drive
I had a total hardware failure on the hard drive of my HP Pavilion 15-e037cl. This was given to me from family. I know it's outside of warranty but I would like to purchase if possible the recovery media for a replacement harddrive. I looked all through out support pages and couldn't find an option unless I still had access to use the hp assistant, which I do not. Any ideas?
HP Stream up windows 10 update started problems
Around November 2018 initiated the latest OS update. Since then the Tablet has become almost useless. Extremely slow to startup and run. Many applications don't work. No internet connection although seems to indicated all devices are working correctly. Unfortunately it was not set up to save restore points. Trying to reset the thing back to original (volume buttom and start button together for at least 3 secs brings up the menu but can't find anything that will help the problem. (This Tablet seems to have constant problems since I made the mistake of upgrading from Windows 8.1 to 10.) Should I download all drivers onto a USB using another computer and try to reinstall them all. Ideally I'd like to go back to Windows 8.1 but can't find a way to do this. Thanks!

So before I was able to create and Microsoft account they asked for a pin to use and then I tried to create an account and it’s saying I’m giving them the wrong account address and now it’s not letting me in using my pin
Has anyone removed a laptop HDD and connected as an external device to a different computer?
Hi Folks,
I recently experienced one of Microsoft's automatic Win10 updates and my laptop now won't boot. No matter what I try all I have is a screen with the HP Logo and the little circle of dots and I cannot get beyond that. Cannot boot from an image and cannot get to the Advanced Options. I am being told my only option is a clean install of Win10. My backup is a few days old so I am trying to mitigate any data loss.
Before embarking down this road I would like to try and pull my data from the hard drive and this is my question to you. Has anyone had occasion to remove their laptop hard drive and connect it as an external device to another computer and been able to copy the contents?
Any thoughts on this and how it might be achieved would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Everything seems right but the computer is too slow
Hey everyone, thanks for this opportunity to share with you my problem so we can find a solution!
My problem is that this computer is an i7, has 12GB of Ram and has 1TB of memory, with Windows 10 and it still goes super slow. It doesn't even run smoothly simple and old games like Age of Empries.
I have tried everything, I have formatted it, scanned with antivirus, stopped Windows Search and SuperFetch, I have scanned my Hard Drive with SeaTools which said it was ok and I don't know what else to do to make it run as it should.
What do you think it could be?
Ps: My disk usage sometimes spikes to 100% and it doesn't show anything been done in the pc for it to be at 100%, there are only a few things with 0.1 MB/s
