Password at Login no longer working/ help me reset!
Help! For some reason my password at login is no longer working. Does anyone know how I can reset the password? It’s no longer under warranty and HP Tech Support wants to charge me $99. Please help!

New HP Notebook - 15-da0596sa won’t switch on
Received this laptop as a Xmas gift. Only properly started using it on Monday 7th January. It installed updates when I shut it down last night. Switched on this evening and it’s telling me that it can’t login because of a system failure. Then tried to reboot itself. Following that I can a black screen with the HP logo with a message underneath saying ‘preparing automatic repair’.
This won’t go away. I then followed instructions from someone who had a similar situation and done a quick systems check which came back saying everything was working fine.
I exited the system check and it rebooted to get the original error and then it switched off. It won’t come back on since this happened. Also the OS is windows 10 I’m just not sure which windows 10.
Can someone please advise on what this issue could be?

HP Pavilion x2 - OS installation and format problem.
Hi, I have laptop HP Pavilion x2 10-n140nw and some time ago suddenly it stoped working. When i was trying to turn it on it shows:
When i set security boot in bios to disabled i got something like this:
Then i was trying to scan through HP center (F2 or F3 dont remeber). Scan ended with success. So i decided reinstall windows using my dreamspark windows 10 (64 bit). So i formatted the partition bellowed (3) and installed on it (i did not remove and touched any of the other partitions):
After it finished i reset bios on the HP center.
Then i got this error:
I am not able to do anything in the moment. When i try to run diagnostic from HP center it end in the moment and in logs i can see:
Hope this is good place to ask for help. Is there anything what can i do to get it running? Thank you.

Reset Stream
I bought a used stream. I tried updating to the latest version of windows but it says there’s not enough room. Tried deleting as many things as I could, still not enough room. Thought I would factory rest it, not enough room. What the hell am I supposed to do with this stupid thing? How can it not factory reset? Help before I throw this thing out the window.

Pavilion dv7 login bypass??
I was gifted said laptop minus the ac/dc power adapter sometime ago. I finally ordered the appropriate power adapter and turned it on for the first time a few days ago only to find out that the user login had not been disabled. I contacted the original owner but unfortunately he could not remember the password. The unit came factory with Windows Vista but had since been upgraded to its current running OS, Windows 10. I’ve read up on some possible soulution to this problem but wanted to find out which one would be the best route to go. I don’t have any readable access to another computer to aid in the process and was hoping that I could avoid doing a full HP recovery cause I’d like to keep some of the aftermarket software that’s been installed. Is there anyway of getting past the login password with out performing one of the two methods mentioned above? The original owner would be able to provide proof of ownership for the unit and therefore transfer of said ownership to me to aid in any remedy if needed.

Shut down randomly when not being charged
Hi,
My laptop always shut down on its own when it is not being charged. It is okay when it is connected with charger though. I checked the battery but it diagnostic tool says my battery is OK and no problem. I've ran other diagnostic test to check other problem and it says no problem found. Can you help me regarding this please, thank youu

Did a wipe on hard drive...........Bios doesnt not let me load up from cd
Hey guys I have a HP 15-ba079dx . [serial number removed] product# w2m88ua. Been having lots of problems with this laptop over heating. Sent it in for repair and the repair did not work. Still over heating. Also my cd/dvd would not show up in windows under system. So I checked into bios..........and it would not show up under load setup. When I went in there to check it there was no option for the cd/dvd drive. Now I have a computer with a wiped drive and no way to reload my OS onto the system. So how do I get the nother board to once again show and work with the cd drive??? Also when it was in for repair the repair notes say they reflashed/updated bios. Thanks J

64 bit to 32 bit
I am trying to figure out how to factory reset my stream. Not enough room to do it. When I finally figure it out, can I fresh install windows 10 32 bit instead of 64 bit? It takes up a lot less space on the already tiny hard drive in this computer.

how to fix error code 0xc000000f Windows 7
Today my laptop froze randomly after already being booted, I held the power button down to reset it then it loaded to the windows start up logo. It appeared to freeze here again, not loading past this point (maybe I got a little impatient). I held the power button down again for another reset, now it won't load past the above error message. Asking for drive cd or usb which I don't have. Please help and advise me on what to do next. How do I get windows working again. Thanks

Pavilion Touchsmart 15-n090 sa .Need recovery disks. Hard drive failure.
Hi All
My Pavilion Touchsmart Laptop has suffered a hard disk failure. Was owned by another family member who cannot recall having made recovery disks. Anyone know if it is possible to obtain a recovery disk to restore the laptop to original condition. Obviously I can install a new operating system but will likely not be able to use the touchscreen.
