My laptop is an HP pavilion dv6 and has a bluray drive. Nearly right away the HP mediasmart dvd stopped playing my blurays and I did update it a few months prior and there were no more updates available since then.
So it was suggested on these forums that I download cyberlink power dvd 10. At first I was satisfied that my bluray problems finally subsided but soon I had to update the program almost with each new bluray I bought. Not everyone but quite a few of them.
Anyway I've had issues it seems every other month. A few days ago cyberlink powerdvd 10 stopped working for me completely.
It will load or say its loading the bluray but stop and won't play the bluray.
Now for whatever reason my bluray rom drive will not see that blurays are there and it says (no disc in drive) or just remains the same when I open "my computer"
I just want to enjoy the features of my computer but it seems like a rariety plagued with problems.
