Activate SSD Caching (Intel Smart Response Technology)

I have a hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b112eo and I want to know how I activate SSD caching (Intel Smart Response Technology).

I have installed Windows 8 on my 500 gb HDD, I have legacy support disabled in BIOS and secure boot enabled. I have one 32 gb SSD, right now it is formatted to NTFS and not mounted on any path.

When I start the Intel Smart Response Technology software both the HDD and the SSD shows up but there are no accelerate button (like can be seen here http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/How-it-Works-Intel-SSD-Caching-148/).

Under number 4 in the above link it says:

The SATA controller must be set to RAID mode (no arrays need to be configured).

Is that the problem? I don't think it set to RAID mode and from the BIOS I can't find anywayto configure RAID on only one disk.

Thank you!
