word defaults to red ink only

i have an hp notebook. My word is only will print in red. I removed my delted my Hp printer and uninstalled my office 2010, then I set my computer back to factor setting. I then reinstalled office 2010 but it still hold the font color as red. I have tried resetting the default in word but it is set to aautomatic. Please help. how do get the font color to hold in black?
