I've got an HP g60-458dx dx 64-bit laptop and I just upgraded to windows 7 from vista with the cd's that HP sent me 3 years ago. I would have done it sooner, but I misplaced the cd's and recently found them.
Anyway, I wish I would have stayed with a perfectly functioning vista.
Since the upgrade, the laptop randomly bluescreen crashes. Sometimes I can use it for hours with no problem, other times it will crash multiple times in a short span of time.
I used the upgrade option instead of doing a clean install and now i'm figuring the only way to fix this problem is to do a full/clean install. However I can't figure out how to do so, as when i try to run the upgrade cd, it realizes Windows 7 is already present and won't give me options like it did in the very beginning.
Any ideas? If anyone at HP is listening, I would appreciate some support rather than waiting some distant period of time for public forum on this. I've never needed any help from HP and i dont appreciate getting diverted to a public forum to get help that HP should be providing directly.
