hp update reinstall error occuring on my pavilion zd8000 notebook using XP

I recently uninstalled HP UPDATE in order to reinstall it, but i keep getting a setup error; Also happens when i try to install HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT; Please help me to resolve this; Thank you for your anticipated consideration~Tom
