Hi,
We're having problems with a 6730b notebook with Windows 7.
The user cannot proceed to a 'normal' domain login : after entering his password, the computer kick him back woth an error message like 'cannot find the credential server'
The only solution is to use the login wizard, uncheck the box 'use credential manager', and enter the password.
The main problem is that, for some reason, the protect tools suite has been corrupted and we can't access to any of the options, so we can't disable this credential manager.
Also, we can't uninstall the software (we get errors on any of the components uninstall), and can't reinstall the software on top of the exisitng install (here again, the install process stops with various error messages).
So we have several options :
1/ gracefully reinstall all tools in order to disable the credential manager. As the install/uninstall wizard do not work, we'd need some instructions on how to manually uninstall the whole set of tools.
2/ manually bypass this credential manager and use the 'normal' logon process
How can we proceed?
Thanks,
Thomas
