g6-2284ca ralink bluetooth driver missing from Windows 8.1

I had just fixed my bluetooth issue I came into last month:

But then when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 (64 bit), I lost my bluetooth driver again! Dang!

I've tried all the Windows 8.1 drivers for g6-2284ca under networking but they didn't work and rewarded me with a BSOD for my troubles.

I even tried the drivers from this thread:

No dice.

I've uninstalled the device through the device manager and scanned for changes but the bluetooth device still shows up under Other Devices and is listed with an exclamation point and "Ralink_RT3290_Bluetooth_01".

Support has been fantastic in the past and I thank you for that. I hope you all will be able to help me get my bluetooth back up and running again!
