First, I tried posting this in the AskUbuntu forums, nobody replied, and it cost me my reputation, so I decided to post it here. I had no idea whether to post this in OSes, Recovery, or Hardware, but I thought it might be the OS so I posted it here. But, I need to recover from this problem. So, basically, I once accidentally trashed my Desktop PC, which was an HP Pavilion 7 1268c, when trying to install Ubuntu. A tech did it for me after that... I noticed he install "GRand Unified Bootloader Legacy Edition" so, a month later, I decided to do the same to my laptop, did it exactly how I thought he did it, Installed the package and installed. The only difference is before installing I connected to WiFi. Also, my warranty was expired for the laptop, so, why not? Now, I want to dual boot with Zorin OS, but the laptop won't boot to the CD! I've tried disabling Secure Boot, hitting Esc + F9 on boot, and Even Just F9 on boot. But, before my Desktop was even wrecked, I didn't know about the Esc + F9 so I had a tech come help and he made it boot from CD when the PC boots & CD is inserted. After the install, it no longer booted from CD. I haven't tried legacy boot though, I'm not sure if my pc is compatible. So, if you think it might work, how can I do it?
