Hello,
My sister purchased a HP Pavilion 15-n032sa mainly for work and Internet. Anyway, she quickly (within an hour) got tired of Windows 8 and the update to Windows 8.1 isn't much better, so we're trying to get it running Windows 7. I eventually got it to acknowledge the disk after disabling secure boot and enabling legacy mode. It wouldn't install because of the GPT partition table. I cleared the GPT partition table and proceeded to install Windows 7 as usual. It seemingly installed okay and asked me for details e.g. username and PC name. I did all that and then it did the standard "Setting up desktop", "Logging off", and it usually restarts to the desktop. Not on this laptop. It just goes into a boot loop with the message in the bottom left about interrupting the startup.
Can someone explain where I've gone wrong? Do I need to DBan the hard disk or something because Windows 7 should work? Any help would be really useful. I've never had this problem on any laptop or PC before.
Thanks
