My computer is in a boot loop

I start up my computer and it goes into a boot loop.  I cannot go to my desktop or anywhere else on the computer.  I have shut it off overnight and it still does it.  I have windows 8.1.  My computer is an HP Pavilion dv6-7043cl computer.
