Try this, works for sure.
1. Copy this registry key in a notepad file.
Registry Key
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Personalization]
"NoLockScreen"=dword:1
2. Save the file on the desktop with ' .reg ' extension.
3. Run the file >> allow the file to get added to the registry.
This disables the lock screen on windows 8 pc and allows the pc to boot to the logon screen
