I bought an HP pavilion g7 with Windows 8, when the upgrade to windows 8.1 was available, I downloaded it. It installed everithing alright, no problems with the upgrade and all the drivers and the programs installed worked normally. Later at the begging of this year, HP Support Assistant failed to open, it never happend before to me. Then I tried to open programs like Recovery Manager, Coolsense, Protectguard and everything opened except for Coolsense and Support Assistent. I tried restoring the system with a restoring point, I did SFC scanning, I tried to install them again but it didn't work. I read on the internet that you can uninstall it and then install oit again, So I downloaded the installation file and the procced to uninstall the Support Assistant. During the uninstalling process I got an error message ("Error 1316"). I searched for it on google and then tried to fix it but nothing. I've done almost anything and no results, I'm only missing to refresh or reset my pc but I don't want to do it because of just these two programs, it'll take many time for me to refresh or reset and then configure my pc again. Please help, any heal tecnique would be accepted.
