Hi,
i need help. I just bought new HP but I can not install linux mint 16 cinnamon for some strange reason. I downloaded iso, burned it and put it in. So laptop reads it and just before welcome screen in Linux Mint, screen gets black and that is it. It loads whole logo of Linux Mint but after that just got black. Then I press esc and then some message showed up. Something about X-server about which I have no idea. What worries me is that, when I put dvd in my desktop pc, everything works perfectly. I'm pretty terified. Maybe I bought wrong/broken laptop and I'll have to return it :/ Any help/advice will appreciated. :O
