HP G62 - Windows 7 Home Premiem 64 Bit - Motu Ultralite Mrk 3
Hi, forgive me as I know very little about computers...
I have recently purchased the Motu Ultralite Mrk 3 (will call this Motu for the rest of the thread). It refuses to play sound. From a music point I am fairly handy and have tested many things to see if I can get anything from it (changing the bit rate, testing mics, new leads etc). I have trawled the internet, reinstalled my bios, made sure all drivers are correct and up to date (to my knowledge anyway). The only thing I can imagine it is, is the thing that happened to me 2 years ago after purchasing this laptop and trying to use a mackie interface.....
As I recall the Mackie could not work with the chipet for the usb bus controllers ( I think that's the terminology) and it was rendered useless to me. Since then I bought a focusrite interface and it worked correctly...I am dreading the news that this will be the same story. Any help is greatly welcomed.
I have a new computer (tower) coming tomorrow, the whole idea was that I would have my desktop for mixing music at home and use the g62 for recording on location.
I will be gutted if this function is useless to me.
