HP Printer - hp psc 2175 all-in-one printer error mesesage

I am adding  my hp psc printer (hp psc 2175 all-in-one printer) to my Sony laptop which has Windows 7 operating system.

I am unable  to print the document.   The error message was "Error 41".  What does "Error 41" mean?  I have a hp psc printer disc with  2100 series, 2170 series and 2200 series.  Is this disc compatible with Windows 7 operating system?  What should I do to correct the "ERROR 41?  No changes were made to my system .
