I have HP Pavilion dv7-1657-cl notebook which had HP Simple 2012. In an effort to get the fingerprint reader to stop blinking after signing in I followed a reply and removed several icons from the AuthenTec logon screen and could not get them back so I uninstalled Simple Pass 2012 and using recovery manager reinstalled Simple Pass 2011 which had all the icons. I was able to keep the icons I wanted and delete those I did not. Now I'm trying to download Simple Pass 2012 but cannot find the the correct version for my notebook. I have removed Simple Pass 2011 following some postings I saw on installing Simple Pass 2012 which advised to remove the previous version. Can someone provide the correct download link for the Pavilion I have? Thank you.
