Hi. I've read on forums that a version of Coolsense (which allows you to select several modes of operation) disables Turbo Boost and decreases fan temperature threshold.
My version of HP Coolsense has only an On and Off option. From my observations in task manager, this doesn't seem to affect my Turbo Boost. How does this particular version work then? Does it simply lower the temperature threshold at which the fan increases speed? Or does it still affect my performance in some way?
