What happens If install another OS over pre-installed Win 8 on HP Envy 6-1000et ?

I have Win 8.1 single language edition but this edition does not support Hyper-V.Therefore I can't install Hyper-V on this computer.

I want to install another copy edition of Windows 8.I did format before on my desktop computer so I have a little bit info about it , but I'm not sure if it effects this ultrabook in terms of drivers & disks.Should I do something different or just boot into USB disk and format C , then Install new edition ?

I need some kind of information about this changing OS and formatting disks without recovery.Thanks.
