My laptop is on it's way, and I did not purchase the recovery disc to go with it. I was wondering, is there a way i can clone or move my OS from the HDD that is in the computer to an SSD? Also, is there a way I can do this without having both drives in the laptop at once. I know HP doesn't include the extra cables anymore, so the only way i could put the new one in would be with another cable, and they are EXPENSIVE. I was thinking, maybe download the developers copy of Win8 and then activating it with the key that is for the computer i bought, but i don't know where to find that key in or on the laptop. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
