Thread Stuck In Device Driver
Hey guys, so I have the Envy M6-N113DX
It has the AMD FX 7500 I believe as well as graphic R7 and 6gb of ram
So I keep getting the stop code thread stuck in device driver
I get it mostly when I start up an online game
It's pretty inconsistent
Sometimes it will happen after 5 hours
Sometimes afyer 5 minutes
It was pretty bad yesterday for some reason so I looked up how to fix it
So most plces said it's an easy fix (and I was pretty relieved ya know?) So it says update your drivers
I updated all of them. Most notably the graphics, and sound stuff.
I also went ahead and update Bios and UEFI which the bios was suggested
I did this through HP (the graphics, uefi, sounds, and the bios) some the computer did itself
It didnt help. If anything it made it worse.
Then I got this error saying runtime was missing which I figured out meant I was missing a visual c++ so I redownloaded it from windows. U thought this might be the final problem however it was not apparently.
I've read some places that day replace the battery? I'm not sure why or how to tell if this us the problem.
I intend to go into uefi and do the in depth tests but I'm not positive they'll give me any results as to what exactly is causing this but I will post the results of that as well.
It's a great laptop it runs well, it was a little slow after the updates but mostly it's perfect no issues.
So I'm at a loss here, I did recommended steps and I don't know where to go from here. I've thought about unis talking drivers than reinstalling them but I'm not sure how to go about uninstalling important components, it makes me slightly nervous, I don't wanna uninstall the graphics card and then have it all mess up
So any insight would be nice thank you very much.
UPDATE:
i did the tests as i said i would and i may have pinpointed the cause. I preformed pretty much every test on there including the system board test which it passed most of except for the memory test which i got
Memory: Warning
im not sure what this means but this appears to be the culprit? Could it be a ram issue and if so how do i fix it?
ANOTHER UPDATE
since no one has helped, i have managed to determine its not my ram and its not driver usage or cpu or anything like that. I HAVE NO CLUE AND I AM IN SERIOUS NEED OF HELP. i am at my wits end ive tried using the dubgger but i have no clue what to do or what any of it means, im am at a loss as its seemingly coming from nothign which is almost impossible i cant get the same error just cause. Ive run in depth scans and updated just about everything uninstalled things and disabled things but nothing works.

My laptop is not turning on
I bought a HP 15-P100DX about almost 2 years ago (22 months) and its not turning on anymore. I brought it to a place so they could check and the guy said to me that it was probably the mother board ,which that means basically that my laptop is not going to work anymore. 4 unknow devices - ran out of ideas which drivers I need

I installed windows 7 64 and after installing all drivers I had in my mind I still getting 4 unknown devices:
- pci device (pci device 8, 0, 0) (no more details )
- universal serial bus controller (no more details 
- unknown device - acpi/hpq6007
- unknown device - acpi/int33a0

I get "Selected Boot Image Does not Authenticate" when trying to run linux from a usb
I just bought a new HP spectre 2-in-1 for work. I need to get Kali linux up and running, however, when I try to do a live-boot with an usb, I get an error message saying "Selected Boot Image Does not Authenticate"
A quick google search of the phrase reveals this problem only happens on HP devices. It mostly appears when upgrading Windows apparently.
There are two main fixes mentioned online: turning off secure boot and enabling Legacy mode. Neither worked for me.
Are there any ways to fix this? From my understanding, it's a low-level firmware issue, so fixing it would be beyond my control.
I really like this laptop, but it's going straight back to the store if this can't be fixed. I'm not paying $1500 + tax for hardware I can't control.

HP Envy 15 k113nl dead after BIOS update
Two days ago I received a notification from HP Support Assistant with an update of BIOS. I did the update with notebook plugged at AC but when it restarted, it showed the following error:
Boot device not found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk
Har disk (3F0)
Now anything is working. I tried all methods suggested on your website but nothing happens. I tried to restore the original BIOS downloaded from your website but it didn't work with any version.
Please, help.

How to Setup the Raid on Envy 15 through BIOS
How do you setup the Raid throug BIOS when you have a 1tb harddrive and internal 24G SSD drive using Intel Smart technology? I cant load Windows 8 keeps failing and cant detect the 1tb drive. Everytime I use the recovery USB from HP it goies through the whole process and reboots to drive EF0 error and doesnt load windows. I did the harddrive test and it came back with no errors
