windows-7 intallation issue
when i try to install windows-7 in my HP 15-f003dx it`s says no device driver were not found... I tried manything but still I am facing the problem, so i tried sata driver install solution but I think i am not getting the right sata driver for my lapttop.
so can anyone help me plz

New Laptop and Getting 0x124 BSOD
So I was using my laptop ordinarily, nothing too straining just some work while listening to music, and then it hard reset by itself, very quickly displaying a bluescreen.
Since the bluescreen the boot animation runs twice with the second at a low framerate. It takes like 3 times as long to boot, and the whole system generally is slow.
I contacted HP and they disabled all the non-microsoft services and start-up items but no luck there. I then did the HP factory reset which made the notebook work perfectly as it was for a while but it did the same thing again.

I have looked online and it is showed to be hardware based, but is there a way I can fix it, or shall I ask for a replacement?

Upgrade to Windows 10 on dv7?
Microsoft keeps bugging me to upgrade to Windows 10.
Now I've looked through HP support for the available drivers for Windows 10 for my model and found none. As far as I know Windows 8 drivers should also work and they are available for my model. I've had to much issues with driver incompatabilities in the past, so I'm a bit cautious.
Could I and should I upgrade to Windows 10 or is it better not to? And why?

Hotkeys have randomly stopped working
I installed Windows 10 not long after it was released and everything was running absolutely fine. However, about 2 days ago the hotkey shortcut buttons (Brightness up, down volume etc) stopped working. I have tried to install drivers but I think they are the wrong ones because it says that they are not supported by the system. Please help?

Lost my backup USB
Hi there, I bought my HP ENVY Notebook in October last year with Windows 8.1 OS. I did made a back USB at that time.
Later on I upgraded my system to Windows 10, meanwhile some how by mistake my windows were deactivated and I also lost my backup USB. Can anybody help me to reactivate my windows?

Replacement OS Discs
My Pavilion is two years old. When I bought it the OS was Windows 8.1. I hated it!! I upgraded to Windows 10 and that was even worse. I made a backup of the Windows 8/10 for discs to reinstall if needed and loaded Linux on the laptop.
In December 2015 my house and discs were destroyed in a tornado. Now I need to reinstall Windows 8/10 because I'm getting rid of the HP.
How do I get the install software for the Windows 8.1?

HP Recovery Error message
Hi Team,
I have recently purchased HP 15-ac101TU from flipkart, After 2, 3 days of usage i found machine was running slow, for copying 1GB of file it was taking half an hour to 1 hour, if i resatrt also got the same problem, after restarting for loggin also it was taking too much time, and i found low resolution display while watching HD videos, i have contacted flipkart for it, they assigned the engineer from HP team to solve the issue,HP engineer told like some driver issue, try to recover the system. i have tried with recovery with restarting the PC after restarting pressing F11 key i'm getting error message, that i have attached in this, and flipkart dint send the OS image DVD also, Please help me.

Hi: I have a 3 year old HP Envy 4 with Windows 7 installed at factory and Windows 10 did a partial unauthorized download that has corrupted my laptop and now have the BSOD. We have tried everything and even had 2 computer technicians look at it to no avail. It shows the following:

What the Local Disk Z:
Out of the blue I have a Local Disk Z: on my PC that wasn't there before. When I click on it it says you don't have authorization to access drive? Can someone explain? when responding through hp support assistant and disable guest account ,since then I am seeing this local drive Z , there is some problem in new version of hp support assistant 8.xx They should fix it ASAP !!!
