hi. i have a  HP Pavilion x2 - 10-k010nr. and i had installed windows 8 before.

yesterday and updated my os to windows 10 and due the low memory, the device ask me for a external storagem device and i put a sd card.

during the instalation one error message show up saying that will retrieve to the previous os system. but began in cycles of re-starting over and over again never living the black screen. i tried all buttons to tried to acess bios or using a boot pen but nothing is detected. please help me

I have an hp mini 1000 that my cousin left at my house and I tried turning it on but the only thing that happens is the power light and WiFi lights come on but I don't think the fan is working and the screen just stays black.. It even charges.. What could be the issue?

I tried to install Windows 7 Home on my HP 15-f009ca laptop that came with Windows 8.1 installed. Now I know that was a mistake. Now the laptop thinks it's running Windows 7 (what it opens up to) but it won't run because there are no HP drivers to support it. When I try the recovery options nothing works. I can't acccess the product key as it's encrypted in the BIOS (I read that I could boot to a copy of Windows 8.1 on a USB - but it asked for a Product Key when it started to install). Can anyone help or have I ruined the laptop?

i've tried all of my browser but none of them actually worked... i always got this

Hi, guys!

 

I have problems with my laptop - HP Beats Special Edition 15-p003er (ENERGY STAR). I had my laptop in a service center, but manager told me that PC doesn't have any problems, but I can't use it. It's my secont laptop, service has changed it, first one had the same problem like this (system get stuck all the time, it has strange noise inside, it turns off when it want, sometimes screen becomes blue), but service doesn't want to change it and they have no reaction about it. They told me that PC was checked with some program and it showed no problems. I dont' know what to do, I captured videos and voice memos for showing that PC is broken. Advice me what to do and how to change PC or get my monet back.

The fan runs continuously and is noisy.

A solution might be updating the bios (according to hp support site).

MSINFO32 says: bios outdated (no version number)

 

I used the HP software and drivers protocol, but it only shows that drivers migth need update via WIndows update (no specific).

 

Where op the HP support pages can I find a recent bios version?

I was given a HP pavilion entertainment dv2000. It has been in storage and no one knows a password. I get a systems disabled code of 04016. How can I get onto the laptop?

Hi

 

I updated Windows 10 Envy  (orginally Windows 8.1) device drivers today. Seems like the finger print scanner is not working anymore after restart. I am locked out of my machine. The system restore also does not work on Windows - I tried it a few times.

 

I am able to go to the DOS prompt from HP recovery management. However I dont know how to install the simple pass drivers from the DOS command.

 

Please assist or provide alternatives (other than a reset with data loss)

hi, I own an HP Notebook - 15-r100nia. I installed Windows 7 on it but I kept getting blue screens. I've tried both 32 bits and 64 bits, but I still face the same problems. I'll like to know why this happens. is this system compatible with Windows 7 at all?

I bought an HP 355 G2 Notebook from an online tech store back in January 2016 and since then I've experienced numerous problems with the laptop meaning constant crashes, blue screens etc. Recently I started receiving these screen freezes where the screen randomly freezes in place while browsing the internet with a weird sound looping furiously in the background and the system refuses to restart even after waiting for more than 20 minutes (i have to restart it myself). The windows device manager is showing no signs of faulty drivers so I suspect hardware failure but im not entirely sure. I've ran all kinds of system scans and searched through a **bleep** load of forums to find a solution but with no success... Please help

My Notebook had a re-set and now all I have is a black screen with a flashing white cursor. Also the screen keeps going from blue to black. It's not even going to the operating system page.

My laptop doesnt seem to be charging at all even when it is pluggedin. The message that I have looked in the power icon says "Plugged in, not charging".

 

I need help to solve this. I bought the laptop in the webstore of HP 8 months ago, so the laptop still have warranty..

 

By the way, the Product Number is M1W93UA#ABA.

I bought my daughter an Envy 360 last year for school and we had to take it back because the battery died and wouldn't charge.  Exchanged it for another Envy 360 and it has been about 15 months now.  Guess what?  Batter died and laptop won't work unless it is plugged in.  Purchased a new HP battery and installed it and now we get "No Battery Detected".  Any suggestions??

I HAVE AN ISSUE THAT THE SCREEN CAN BE EITHER BLACK OR ON WHEN I OPEN THE LID.

THIS IS HAPPRNING WHEN BOOTING UP AND AFTER SLEEP MODE.

IT IS ALMOST LIKE THERE IS A BAD CONNECTION THAT WHEN THE LAPTOP IS COLD AND STILL IT WORKS.

THER IS NO PATERN I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE POWER SETTINGS RETURNED TO FACTORY SETTINGS AND STILL THE SAME PROBLEM.

PLEASE ANY HELP

AM NOW AT THE POINT THAT I WOULD WARN ANYBODY FROM BUYING THIS PRODUCT

I purchased a new laptop 3 months ago , HP Pavillion note book, and have windows 2016.  Excel, Word, power point etc  worked well for the first few weeks and now they are constantly not responding. I can have a one page document open in Excel ( or other applications) and when I try to input / print any data  the laptop freezes and curser keeps going round and round and it can take up to 30 seconds for laptop to respond !! It is taking me forever to complete any work. Any suggestions please.

We just purchased this laptop, it came with Windows 7 Pro, with a free upgrade disk to Windows 10 Pro. However, there is no dvd drive, and we don't have an external dvd drive. Is there someway to do the update without using the dvd? It's aggravating to have to go out and buy an external dvd drive just to update one laptop.

I purchased this laptop NEW from a local retailer on 4/20. On 4/22 I updated all of the software and drivers found on my computer's support page (well the ones it would let me update) as suggested by a number of this site regarding another question I had about my new system.

 

Today is 4/24 and I've twice gotten a blue screen message that says "your pc has encountered a problem and needs to restart. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.  I am NOT computer savvy at all so I don't know how to fix this problem. I have run Ccleaner, Malware Bytes and a Boot scan with Avast and all have come up clean.
