BIOS recovery to a hard disk
Hello, my HP laptop gone black and the caps lock button is flashing. I tried on a second pc to install BIOS recovery and copy it to my hard drive. But when i download BIOS on the second pc, it doesnt allo me to select my hard drive so i can copy my BIOS recovery to it.

My HP Support Assistant has updates but it keeps getting stuck at create a restore point
My HP support assistant tells me I have 8 updates (suppose to do them automatically but obviously it isn't). When I go in to install them it has a checklist of things to do to install the update. It is getting stuck at Create A Restore Point. It never creates one to choose, it just keeps loading. Also my windows button on the screen (how you get to all your apps not on the desktop) will not do anything when I click it. I have ran anti-virus and it comes back clean, my firewall is up to date and working. Why is this happening? Any ideas what to do?

Unable to hard reset HP stream Notebook pc 11
Hi! So I bought this HP stream laptop from a friend. It had a previous user and password. Since I don't know the person or password I can't access my new laptop. I've tried doin the F11 And Esc. menus and I keep getting a message saying my pc needs repaired? There isn't an option to like factory reset or anything. So right now I'm running a system quick test. Which still has 13 minuted left. So far it says;
Battery check: primary- OK(1)
Wireless Module Check:PASSED
System Board Check: PASSED
Also at the top it says; Processor Check: PASSED
So at this point I have no idea what I'm doing or if what I've done is going to do amything? Please help!!

Bios fails to save setting
I have the laptop hp 15-ba113cl , and now I tried to disable secured boot and enable to legacy boot as well as change boot order to USB, but when I restart and go back to bios, the setting is not been saved.
I tried to upgrade bios to latest version but I got the error verification of flsahed bios image fails
I am thinking it is motherboard issues
How can I soave it?

BIOS BLOCK HP
One day I was turning off my computer and the next day I turned it on and it requested an administrador password or power on password.
I have never activated any option regarding this password, and they tell me the BIOS is blocked. I've tried generating the password with a link online but I've had no success.
Please if any one can help me, I've taken it to best buy with the geeksquad and no one can give me solutions.

Will not turn on
Laptop turn itself off while using it. Orange charge light replaced white light. Removed battery and plugged back in power supply and white light returned. It will not power up.

Forgotten the password for my HP laptop - Reset won't work
I've forgotten the password for my laptop. I don't have a pasword reset disk and the hint/ reminder just says 'uni third year' which I know means my password from uni - don't remember this either.
I've followed all of the troubleshooting advice online and it always gets me as far as a full reset, except right at the last minute it comes up with a message that says 'additional free space is needed on th drive where windows is installed. Clear some space and try again'. I can't log in because I don't know the password so how am I going to clear space?
I appreciate that this is a good way to prevent thieves but I am genuinly just a clutz that lost her login.
Please help! I've had to buy a new laptop! I just want to reset this one so I can sell it - not fussed on keeping the files.

Changing saturation on an HP 27fw monitor using a MacBook air
I have recently got an 27fw monitor to use with a macbook air. The main reason for getting it was for photogrpahy and whilst I can change contrast and brightness on the monitor and on the laptop can sort the white balance, I cannot find a way of changing saturation. At the moment everything is a bit oversaturated on the monitor.
