HP intel core i7 hard drive crash
Computer won’t boot up- the power button flashed. Tried rebooting with a hard restart and power button lit up. Caps lock is blinking in a pattern of three times slow and two times fast. I got a little water on in last week, but it was working fine over the weekend after the water spill.

After factory reset windows 10 fails at reinstalling
The initial issue was that the laptop would go into hibernation after not being used (as expected) but then upon returning and waking the system I would be a blue screen asking me to login, after which it would be in the "Automatic Repair" screen; I proceeded to reset while maintaining my files after a couple tries and eventually I would get back in, but it would utlimately return to this screen after returning to the laptop. I was able to back up what was important to me, and then proceeded to attempt a facotry reset just to clean the slate and start fresh; the recovery part worked fine (it appeared) but windows during the installation would eventually popup with a window saying " Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation.".
With that being said I made multiple attempts at resetting; tried some of the "Command prompty" tricks; attempted the "Reset This PC" with full recovery to blow everythign way; and the results were alwasy the same.
If anyone can offer any advice on what I need to do it would be greatly appreciated; at the moment its a dead brick.

when i power on my laptop it asks for administrator password or Power on password
I bought this laptop and a friend tried to factory reset, now when i turn it on it will not do anything but ask for admin. password or power on password. I dont know what happened whwn they triwd to factory reset. all i know is nithung comes up but administratorpassword or power on password.

selected boot image did not authenticate
Hello
My nephew bougth this used laptop. It says HP 255. Windows 10 was installed, but it was sooo slow, so he asked me to install windows 7. I made bootable usb and installed windows 7. But then i got the message: selected boot image did not authenticate. I searched for solution and i found that i have to enable legacy support. But when i do, screen goes black and it does not boot. I have to take it apart and disconect cmos battery to reset bios. Nothing helps. I tried it for 5 times already. Is there any solution or should i just throw it out of the window? :)

HP Stream notebook BIOS Administrator Password
I have an HP Stream notebook that when I turn it on I get a blue screen that immediately displays on the screen: "Please Enter your administrator Password.
Here's what I do
I pressed enter a couple times and get a system disabled pop up and Below this displays:

Can I go into a bios master password generator online and type the numbers above and still with the code Im given thru the master generator online, doesn't work either. Please help me..!!!

The brand new HP 15.6 Inc Ryzen just won't start...
Hello All, The air is very tense in my appartment tonight as the laptop I bought as a present for my boyf is taking an age to start.

Install Win 10 to m.2 SSD in 640 G1
I recently purchased a used 640 G1 in which the seller had removed the 2.5" SSD with Windows 10 and installed a new one but installed Linux on it, as an MBR disk. I was able to install and activate Win 10 Pro on that SSD, used MBR2GPT to convert it from MBR to GPT, then change the boot mode to UEFI in setup and everything ran just fine. As it's only a 120GB and can't hold my multimedia files, I wanted to install a spare 2.5" HDD for those but boot from the m.2 slot. I purchased a 120GB m.2 2242 and installed it in the m.2 slot, booted up, and it was immediately visible in Disk Management, where I designated it as a GPT disk.
I then attempted to clone the Win 10 installation to it using easeUS Todo, which has worked well for me in the past. Even though the new m.2 is the same capacity as the 2.5 SSD, easeUS insisted that it couldn't clone it because the m.2 drive was too small.
So I decided that as I didn't have many apps installed, I would simply remove the original 2.5" SSD and do a fresh install of Win 10 on the m.2 drive. I reset the boot mode to UEFI with CSM and it booted up into the installation off a freshly prepared Win 10 installation USB. The installation appeared to run absolutely normally to the point where it normally reboots to complete the installation (connection to the wireless network, etc.) but it refused to do so. I can't recall the exact wording but I got a screen that implied there was no bootable media in the notebook and it would shutdown.
I have seen conflicting info in other threads about the proper steps to install Win 10 on an m.2 SSD in the 640. I'd be very grateful if someone could lay out the precise steps to get the BIOS to recognize the USB install stick all the way through to getting the notebook to boot from the m.2 slot to complete the installation, then reliably boot from the m.2 slot.

Issues with HP laptop
Hi, my son is having issues with his laptop. He has already been in touch with HP community for advise. He was advised to master reset his laptop, but the laptop will not let him. He get a blue screeen during the resetting process saying there was an issue plus that is wasn’t reset and no changes were made.

I keep getting the recent hard ware or software has changed start windows and repair both not working tried to make a recovery disk but Microsoft says since i have a windows key that is built in that I have to ask hp for recovery disks and when I went to see if there was software or hardware said there is none

I ran a norton security update yesterday, today I go to turn on the computer and get a few messages; Boot Device Not Found, Please intstall an operations system on your hard disk.

I accidentally deleted HP_tools partition and now laptop wont boot

I just upgdate my w10 v1803 to v1809. To my surprise the office 2007 word doesn't
save new file again after the updating.
I think, maybe it is the time for me to upgrade the Office 2007.
As you know, there are many Office- Brand/Version, most of them are quite qualified.
Which is good enough and cheap?
If you have the experience or knowledge, could you give me a suggestion?
