OS disappeared after Windows 10 reset
Hi, yesterday my friend gave to me his HP Omen and we started to reset it with the Windows 10 built-in reset option (Start -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery) to clean the pc of all his datas.
The process was quite long but in the end it reached the 100% : after this it restarted and it showed up this message "Critical
error detected - No partition found."
Then we tried to restart it several times but it always showed up "No bootable device" : the OS was completely deleted!
This pc was bought on October/2017 so it still has 1 year warranty, what should I do? The pc has some scratches so I'm afraid they will take the pc for 1 month (maybe even more) and then say that the warranty is not valid for that type of damage. Should I install Windows 10 from a pendrive or bring the pc back where my friend bought it?

HP Split crashed trying to re-install windows but it won't boot error 3FO?
hi I inherited this laptop from my late father its a hp split x2 the hard drive appeared broken or locked but have tried several different solutions to get it to take a new install and nothing will work at a loss with it? pretty sure this has come up in the past i have no discs or anything with it just the laptop and bag and a piece of paper with what i thought was the windows key but its not.

Windows Activation Required?!!!
Hello, after purchasing the laptop and using for two weeks, I got the message that activation is ending soon and the system need to be activated through settings, which requires me to enter the windows activation key.
Didn't I purchase a new laptop with an activated and genuine operating system.
I can't find the stickers of windows key on the back of lap top, and after searching I knew that it is embedded in the bios setup.
How can I solve this issue?

HP Chromebook will not accept the Chrome OS recovery files
I have performed the Chrome OS recovery on my Chromebook but it still errors out with a problem that has occurred. I have verified that the recovery files on the USB stick are correct and have even tried on multiple USB drives.
Once the USB drive is inserted it starts to verify with a progress bar and then ultimately errors out with "An unexpected error has occurred. Please refer to this URL for troubleshooting tips: https://www.google.com/chromeos/recovery"
I have tried this maybe a total of 10 times with no luck. I have read online that the computer may be toast. But I want to try every possibility before giving up. Any help would be appreciated!

Hp pavilion 360 freezing or randomly restrating
Hey the last few days my laptop has been increasingly freezing to the point where the clock will stop, theres no arow, no key comands can do anything and i have to hold the power button down. also it will just randomly restart other times.
Sometimes this happens while im watching netflix or running a program but it has also happened while nothing is running. When i have just turned my computer on and i walk away for a moment and come back it will just be frozen on the desktop with the clock stuck on the time when it froze. It happens anywhere from every couple of hours to every 10 minutes just depending on who knows what.
-I bought a cooling pad, has not helped.
-I restored my pc to a month ago when i did not have these problems, hasn't helped.
-scanned for virus, shows there is none
-went thru and deleted things, minimized settings so computer doesnt have to work as hard, i have enough space and 3.84 gb usable ram out of my 4gb
-This has happened both when wifi is turned on and off.
I bought this computer exactly a year ago, maybe $350 computers only last a year and im doomed???
Im really not tech savy at all and kinda used to macs but my friend is going to try to help me so maybe your suggestions could help him...im in mexico studying Spanish right now otherwise i would walk into the best buy where i bought it and be like **bleep** help! Lol. But this is a huge problem as i teach online and am being penalized by my company everytime my computer does this :(

WIndows Boot Manager
Hello Hp Community.
My issue is that when i tried to load windows 7 it says WIndows failed to start and that but when i plugin a windows usb to boot from it is not booting into it and when is press F9 or F10 it doesnt go into the bios or that it just goes back to the WIndows Boot Manager Screen.
Please Help me

Keyboard backlight and fn keys not working.
I bought this laptop second-hand. The original owner had random stuff leftover so I did a factory reset. Keyboard backlight worked before reset. After reset, backlight does not work and fn + keys do not work. Please note I did visit the appropriate driver download page and installed the HP System Event Utility - which is supposed to ne the keyboard fn driver. Any suggestions?

Back up software
Hello guys I have a HP Probbook 430 G5 , and I want to make a back up of my files.
I want the back up to be automatically updated when I change something and not manually.
I bought today a seagate 1TB Expansion (portable) external disk with a built in software.
Should I use that software , the hp backup software (I do not know the exact name) or the windows Back up software?
