had problem downloading printer drivers to laptop and thought i had called hp support and ended up with GTek Info Solutions and they fixed problem but not sure if they are legit third party service provider for HP

Laptop crashes when watching Youtube
After not using my laptop with internet for a couple of weeks, I have recently started to use it with wifi again. Multiple times I have been watching videos of Youtube when my laptop has lost connection to the Wifi and the laptop crashes, with the sound freezing and creating an elongated buzzing noise. I haven't tried other sources of videos (Netflix, iPlayer etc) but from Googling I've seen other people complaining that it's a universal problem. I haven't been able to find a solution in any of those forums - does anyone have any suggestions?

Добрый день!помогите пожалуйста советом или ссылкой!переустановил виндовс с10 на 7(64),загрузил драйвера через DPS,после перезагрузки когда появляется приветствие виндовс экран становится черным!!перезагружаю ноутбук,захожу в безопасный режим,удаляю драйвера на видеокарту AMD Radeon HD6770M,снова перезагружаю,ноут работает,но только на другой видеокарте Intel 3000.на официальном сайте AMD скачивал драйвера,таже проблема!!!!В ЧЕМ ПРОБЛЕМА СКАЖИТЕ????

driver on the video card
Good afternoon! Help please advice or reference! Reinstalled c10 to 7 (64), downloaded the driver via DPS, after reboot, when the welcome message appears, the screen turns black, restart the laptop, go into safe mode, remove the driver on the AMD Radeon HD6770M graphics card, restart it again, the laptop works, but only another Intel 3000 video card. on the official site AMD downloaded the driver, the same problem !!!! WHAT'S THE PROBLEM TELL ????

Computer black out but light is still on?
I was doing work and then left it open for awhile and when I came back, the screen was black. Now usually the screen would come back on after I clicked a button but it didn’t this time. The screen remained black and the light that indicates that it is on is still on. Any ways to fix this?

Restore bios security code or formatting
I want to format my computer and I can not get in. It requires a password and I do not know what it is. (To make a boot drive through the bot)
Is there a way to reset the password or reset the BIOS or upload a USB drive in another way
Please note that I can not sign in to Windows
It is important to note that I work with this computer version of Windows 10 even though it comes with Vista and it worked great only probably because I installed a 64-bit version instead of 32 bit so I had crashes of the system

Stuck in selective startup
Hello. I was playing around with my computer and I just happened to notice in System Configuration that the option for Selective Startup was selected. There is also an option for Normal Startup. I would think it's supposed to be in normal startup, but I don't ever remember changing it, so maybe it's been in Selective Startup since I got it??
Anyways, is it supposed to be in Selective Startup? I tried changing it to Normal, but it won't let my Apply the change and keeps going back to Selective.

Black screen and caps lock flashes 5 long and 3 short
My sons hp stream laptop screen will not turn on and caps lock flashes 5 times long, short pause then 3 times short, then long pause then repeat. Is there anything I can do other than taking it back to bestbuy for their 2-3 week turnaround????

Can't restore non-Microsoft or Adobe files create with system recovery
Windows pushed an update the end of July that crashed my operating system. I used the file backup utility in the recovery program to backup all my files, then did a facotry reset. Windows still wouldn't come back up so I took the laptop into the Geek Squad and they reinstalled the operating system and restored my files. Most of my files are created with Word Perfect, Page Maker or Quicken. None of them came back with the restore. Since I do most of my work in those programs and know that 32G of files were copied at the backup, I'd really like to get them back. Any suggestions on how to convince the restore program to recognize my missing files?

Extra Drives Vanished After performing Win10 reset
we got a ZBook 17 G5 with 3 extra 1TB drives installed.
I had to perform a win10 full reset because the OS wasn't functioned well.
After the OS reset, the extra drives are not anywhere to be found! not even in the device manager.
Can anybody help me?

Notebook dead thanks to recovery kit
Hello,
my notebook was slow. I decided to recover it using the rescue disks. I bought a repair kit (2 DVD) from HP shop which pointed to HP (supplier-support?) Best2Serve.
I payed and after receiving the kit I used it.
The system was completely erased and the recovery procedure stopped at 78% (second DVD). The system was completely dead and it could not boot any more.
I tryed and tryed again but usually the same result.
I tryed to write to Best2Serve support without any reply nor any notification. I tryed to write to HP suppoCase Number 5020452526 has Been Created CRM:0000498037116 ) seven days ago, but still no reply.
What should I do?
My Notebook was slow but now it is worste, it dows not work.
I paid the rescue system, is it possible I don't have any reply, nor a new rescue DVD, nor a minimal contact from HP support?
I hope I don't have to need more HP support in the future because I think they lost my ticket (but catched my money)

I can't lignore in
Emails had stopped coming through to my windows 10 email so I tried resetting back to 5th Sep when I knew it was ok. For 2 days now I've had a grey screen with a little blue circle going round. I've tried turning off or taking out the battery to no avail

How to recover (with product key) genuine manufacturer Windows that was wiped
I had an HP laptop with Windows 7 installed (the product key for which came with the laptop, on a label at the bottom). This laptop was stolen some time ago, but my local police managed to retrieve it and it is now again in my possession. As is the label. However, after turning the laptop on, I discovered that whoever was using it during the time it was stolen had installed a counterfeit version of Windows on it. Now some buttons don't work as they should, and, well, I just don't want to be using illegal software. I'd really like to go back to my legal copy of Windows. I contacted a Microsoft support agent with this problem and he told me that I should refer to the manufacter for the OEM file, with which I'll be able to reinstall. But I could not, anywhere, find the option of speaking directly to an HP rep. Maybe someone here can help?

hello, have problem with my new laptop. Buy laptop 3 days ago. Install Windows. Then install HP Support Assistant to install all drivers. And with all drivers hp support assistant install some "HP Firmware Pack(Q85)" After this update my new laptop wont turn on...blinking only CapsLock&NumLock 5 times.This was Bios?
