HP Stream 13 will not reboot
I was trying to reset my laptop to factory settings, and after loading 40%, it told me that it was unable to restore it, so I hit the button to send it back to before.
Instead of doing that, the screen went black, then lit up with a black background and the hp logo in the middle. It goes back and forth between the two and nothing else happens.
I cannot restore it to an earlier date because apparently I havr no restore points. And the battery is unremovable. What can I do? It won't restore and it won't restart.

New HD installed Ordered Recovery USB, now in 5th hour of "Fatory image recovery prepartations"
My HD stopped working, I replaced the HD with a brand new one that was bigger than the one that came with the laptop. Unfortunately I did not make a recovery disc so I ordered one from HP (in came in the form of a USB). I followed all the instructions that came with the USB. The first 2 processes went rather quickly "Reformatting the Windows partition on the hard drive" and "Copying files required to restore the hard drive". Rather strange being the HD was blank, so how did it reformat the Windows partition?
Now it is on the 3rd process..."Restoring files to the aHard Drive" It has been on this process for the past 5 hours with 0% progress, but it does say "Please wait" I did accidently unplug the powercord while trying to move the laptop to a location out of the way of the kids playing and it warned me it had to stay plugged in, so I immediately plugged it back in.
It is showing me options to go Back, Next and Cancel, but not allowing me to select any of them. I am at a lose...should I just let it run all night or what? Please advise as to what I can do to resolve this.

Can't activate my Windows 8 (Tamilnadu Gov't Laptop - HP246)
I clicked the "Activate windows ", but it shows an error code as, "Error code: 0xC004F074 Error description: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated/ No key Manangement Service (KMS) could be contacted. Please see the Application Event Log for additional information." What should I do now?

Rollback bios
Hi I urgently need help regarding new bios upgrade which completely messed up my system. I updated my bios from f.35 to f.44 and it cause multiple problems; usb 3.0 port stopped working new crimson drivers are not working and touchpad is also causing problem. I have tried to roll back bios using system utility but doesn't allowing rollback. It give an error (This bios image is not intended for this purpose). Old bios updates where also removed from my laptop driver section. Please help it urgent. Thanks in advance.

HP drivers doesnt exist for me?
It goes like this, I bought HP 15-ah150sa it came with win10 64bit. I lived with it for months but i was done so today installed win7 ultimate 64bit. Problem is that I can't connect to internet because im missing drivers and this...this is a big one...HP does NOT have drivers for my model for win7, it only offers for win10...any suggestions what i can do?

Need help can't get past the HP logo. Keeps telling me to restart.
OK my laptop was originally a widows 8. Then I upgraded to 8.1 then windows 10. But I thought I caught a bad virus so I tried to reset my laptop. And erase everything. Now it tells me to restart because of a error when it was trying to reinstall windows 10. So now I can't get past the HP logo. I tried taking out the battery and memory cards. But still get the same results. Somebody please help me.

Windows 10 prompts for signon, then goes nowhere
I cannot get past the signon screen; it tries then goes back to signon again. I did a hard reset(remove battery, hold power for 15 seconds, replug AC and turned on) but no different. I hit ESC at reboot, tried F11(recovery) and that failed. I tried hitting F8 at startup to get to safemode but that never showed the options.
Some of the errors I see after going into ESC menu:

I would think my harddrive is ok since I get the signon screen, can enter my password, and I see my photo.

Rebooting from recovery disc.
At start up, I chose F12, boot from disc. It started & then this era message came up--The system recovery media does not support this computer. You are not able to restore this system with this media. 0110 - LW416UAR#ABA - LW416UA#ABA
This is the original disc that I created when I first bought this computer, but now it's not letting me use it to reboot my laptop back to factory settings. I already tried rebooting from partition it came with, but I wasn't happy with the outcome, so I wanted to delete everything & reboot from the disc, but it's not letting me, what can I do to reboot my laptop from scratch?
I already bought a Windows 10 laptop, but I like my Windows 7 better, I just want to restore it back to factory running stats rather than what it is now (laggy).

constant black screen
Hi,
im having a problem with my computer, constantly getting a black screen. i can be doing anything like homework or just surfing the internet and my screen would turn black. sometimes it will pop back up or it will stay black and id have to hold down my power botton untill it shuts off so i can turn it on again. its geting in the way of my work and i need this comupter for school as well so if any one can give me an answer would be great!

HP Pavilion 15 au123cl Windows7 IntelHD Driver
Hello. Recently I got HP Pavilion 15au123cl. It had Windows 10 pre-installed, but since I don't like it I installed Windows 7. I was able to get all drivers except for intel hd graphics 620. One from official intel page not working (though it says that W7x64 is supported) and driver from hp page has same error message "does not meet minimum requirements". Tried to do it several ways: Device manager>Display>Update driver>Browse>Have disk> choose .inf file, regular .exe launch. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Installing new hard drive on granddaughters machine. How to reinstall Windows.
I am installing a new 500 GB hard drive on my granddaughters machine and she does not know what version of Windows it had on it before the "crash". She doesn't think that it was updated to 10 but isn't sure. How do I get Windows back on the machine and which version can I put on it?
