Windows 10 - HP Mini 210-4120ea -- Bluetooth Drivers
Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me out.
I've installed Windows 10 (Not an upgrade) on my HP Mini, I've a couple of issues with drivers but the first one I want to tackle is my bluetooth.
In windows 7 it is listed in device manager as: worked.
Atheros 3011 Bluetooth 3.0 + HS Adapter
However there doesn't seem to be any bluetooth device in my device manager in Windows 10. I tried installing the Windows 7 drivers as it's worked on other laptops with friends and family but no such luck in my case.

I have noticed though that my Wifi card is also detected as a different Atheros model than it was previously in Windows 7 too.
Windows 7 Device Manager:
Atheros AR9285 802.11 b/g/n Wifi Adapter
Windows 10 Device Manager:
Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11 b|g|n Wifi Adapter
Wifi works just fine as it is, but I know some wifi cards will have bluetooth combined and so I've tried install the Windows 7 drivers also for my particular card from HP Support but hasn't made a difference.
I've also been looking around the internet for drivers and can't seem to find any official support or downloads for these devices. Has anyone else had this issue and could share with me how to restore functionality to my bluetooth adapter?

Warranty mailing address
Laptop will not boot on. Tried hard reset as suggested.
I bought the laptop in January and it is still under warranty. The problem is I removed the stickers for cleaning at one point, and also no longer have the box or receipt. I wonder if there is a mailing address I can send the computer in to be checked out, as I would imagine the serial number must be also embedded somewhere. I called tech support and was told it is normal proceedure for HP to send a box and they cannot do so without a serial number. None of their suggestions for how to obtain a serial number were helpful, as the store (Walmart) is out of state and also I no longer have the box or documentation. Also, the serial number is NOT in the battery compartment, as suggested by the representative.
I appreciate any solutions to this.

issues after windows 10 upgrade
bought laptop in dec 2012. ever since windows 10 upgrade last month, we have had many issues. we have mcafee total protection. i seemed to have solved two of them (workable beats sound and printing), however, we are having trouble solving the following:
1) hp download and install assistant will not work;
2)hp coolsense is 'blocked';
3)local wifi will not work-it sees the ralink rt5390r, but will not connect, network only show the cable and airplane;
4)windows secuirty service not working;
5)restore option no longer available;
6)booting up issues- spinning thing shows and then it stops, won't display 'welcome' and load, keeps locking up, have to reboot constantly;
7) saw that windows update failed-kb3194496, but cannot get it to retry to the update.
also looks like DVD player not recognized.
can we get some help please.

Primary internal battery error-diagnostics battery test shuts down
After a round of Windows updates, I went to turn on my laptop and recieved the "Primary internal battery (601)" error. After this screen, however, Windows would not load. I have tried taking the battery out and 'draining the charge', and starting up the computer plugged directly to AC with no battery. Windows still does not load. The start-up test in the diagnostics menu said the battery needed calibration, however when I go to run the battery test, it gets to "waiting for battery to charge" and exits out of the test without giving me any results at all. Currently when turning on the computer I no longer get the "primary internal battery" error, it just goes directly to a black screen with blinking cursor. Any help is appreciated, I'm completely at a loss here!

my hp stream suddenly stops
i just bought a hp stream almost a month ago and i dont use it very often as i only use it for my school works. the problem with it is that it will just suddenly stops and does not accepot any commands. the screen will freeze and takes a couple of minutes to be use again especially when im doing something on the internet and it will just freeze. it will just stops and just annoying as it can delays my works.

Unable to reset factory my pavilio g6
I have a Pavilio g6 which has got a win7 original os that I updated to win 10. recently I turned off my machine while was booting and after that it gave me a blue screen error that said: bad cinfig system info. somehow I managed to install a win 8.1 pro but first when I enter my product number it doesn/t activate and I can't reset factory my device back to its original win 7. I guess it can't find the primary drive storing the source files and it gives me an other message that the main drive has already 4 partitions and can't have more. I used to be able to reset factory my device at any time but now it asks for a sorce drive and it just takes back to win 8.1. how can I reset my device?

Selection lines mouse cursor
If the mouse cursor point out an item, it will shows a line with information about the concerning item. Also with select menus and you want to select an item, it will open selection lines so that you can choose. Now I still have those lines but I cannot read them because they are all with little black boxes. It is almost a whole black line. Also with the select menus, if you open the menu the whole selection lines are with little black boxes. You cannot choose a selection because you cannot read them. The system of the notebook is Windows 10

Installing Windows 8 on my device
I am planing to completely format my device and install windows 8, just to test.
My question is that if I plan to go back to Windows 10, after installing it will it automatically activate or not?
because i heard that the product key is imprented on the bios?
For me cloning the device is not an option, because I tried it once before and made many corruptions.
so will after a complete formate and installing the same os (windows 10 64bit) will it activate automatically?

I cant get the Power Icon to turn on. In the behavior column its in the off postion and does not give me the option to turn it on. How do I turn it on ?

Will not finish install of windows
The following on screen
"The computer restarted unexpectedly or enountered error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation."
Everytime I hit the ok button it restarts and same message pops up. I am now lost and need help, please.

Can't use Win7 update
I just had to do a clean install of a retail Win7 SP1 Pro to my laptop. The os loaded, fine, however, Windows update runs, but continuously says SEARCHING FOR UPDATES. I have ran the Microsoft update and BITS troubleshooter, but no change in results. I have run the update program in excess of 12 hours on several occasions. Any ideas?

Caught in continuous HP logo loop
Bought computer in August, 2016. I can get in and see computer info. It says born date 09/06/2016. Either HP or Windows 10 updated last night (10/29) and was in a recovery loop to begin with. I was able to save off the few files I had put on the system. I tried a restore but it did not find a restore point. I tried a system recovery with the CDs I created. Said there was a problem and recovery incomplete. Got caught in this loop for a while. Finally, held start button down for shutdown and now hung up in an HP logo loop. I was able to press the F11 (repeatedly) so that I could get the product info.
Computer was bought off amazon.com from LGI Electronics. I have put an email into them but I am stuck in the meantime and thought I would reach out to some HP support. What is going on?
